Information submitted in the membership form will be treated as confidential, held digitally and used only for club purposes.

When you become a member of or renew your membership with Romsey Road Runners you can also choose to be registered as a member of England Athletics. If you choose to become registered, we will provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). Athletics Data

In becoming a member of RRR (and if applicable EA), RRR/EA will collect certain information about you which will include your name, date of birth, gender, URN number, email address, address, telephone number, names of the EA affiliated clubs that you are a member of and details of any coaching or officiating licenses you hold (collectively termed ‘Athletics Data’).

Data Use

We collect your data to allow you becoming a member of or club, to manage our club, and to communicate with you. Your data will be stored with securely within this website. We will not pass your information on for marketing purposes. The use of data is likely to include the following activities:

Training and competition entry:

  • Share data with session leaders to administer training sessions
  • Share data with club captains to enter events
  • Share data with leagues, county associations and other competition providers for entry in events

Membership and club management:

  • Processing of membership forms and payments
  • Share data with committee members to provide information about club activities, membership renewals or invitation to social events
  • Publishing of race and competition results
  • Website management

Meeting and communications:

  • Sending club newsletter
  • Sending club-related communications, including sharing your email with google groups if opting in
  • Sending information about selling club kit or fundraising
