The popular Stubbington 10k took place last Sunday with 1516 finishing the race. The race attracts many club runners and can provide a fast time if the winds are not inshore.
The race is all on road, taking runners from Stubbington via the village of Titchfield, on a circular route to the picturesque coast at Meon and back. Runners gather for staggered the start along Titchfield Lane, were width and a lack of traffic provide flat, fast start. There are a few undulations through Titchfield Village, before runners follow Posbrook Lane down to the sea. Runners then follow the coast road before heading back into Stubbington for the finish.
